ProofKit
ProofKit — press kit
In one line
ProofKit checks whether AI-cited court cases exist in open databases (US, UK, EU, ECHR) and returns a receipt signed with Ed25519 that anyone can verify offline.
Facts
- Sources: CourtListener, UK Find Case Law, EUR-Lex, HUDOC.
- Receipt: Ed25519 signature + public hash chain; public key at /.well-known/proofkit-pubkey.
- Privacy: text processed in memory, only a SHA-256 hash is kept.
- Prices: Free, Pro $49/month, Team, API $0.02 per citation — see /pricing.
- Open research record: doi:10.5281/zenodo.22848827.
- Public test so far: 5/5 real cases verified, 3/3 fabricated caught — a small sample; a larger open benchmark is in preparation.
What ProofKit does not do
- It does not check whether a case supports an argument.
- It does not replace Westlaw, Lexis or a lawyer.
- Israeli decisions are not covered yet.
- No SOC 2 certification.
